Every week you spend countless hours surfing the internet for a lesson plan or looking for some inspiration that will help you to create an amazing person for your students.

You do this because it’s the road map, it helps you to know what your students will be learning and how you’ll teach them.

Lesson plans don’t only help you run your class but help keep the students focused. This means without a detailed plan, you wouldn’t know what to teach.

Creating an engaging lesson plan, addressing the students’ learning objectives, incorporating fun-filled activities, and helping to check their understanding would take days to create. You see, we know exactly what you’re battling with and how it sips energy from you. It doesn’t have to be so because teaching is meant to be easy, lively, and fun.

Today, we’re going to discuss 3 ways that will help you prepare your school lessons faster. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

1. There’s an app for you (Gradely App)

Have you ever heard of the Gradely app? Well, it’s an app to help you get your lesson plans done quicker. I know you’re probably asking how this can be possible.

First, if you don’t have an account, you can download the app and if you don’t know how to navigate your way on the app, read this blog post.

The Gradely app has the question bank created out of the curriculum, which helps teachers create, organize and map out their lesson plan from wherever they are.

All you have to do is go through the “Question bank” on the topic you’re preparing the lesson plan on a few times to get an idea of what you need to cover while teaching it.

2. Collaborate with your fellow teachers

One of the best ways to prepare your lesson faster is to collaborate with other teachers. You can do this by using other lessons from your fellow teacher for the subjects that you didn’t plan for.

For example, let’s say you created a lesson plan for Social Studies and Basic Science, and your colleague( in another school with the same curriculum) created lessons for English and Maths. You would both give each other your lesson plans so all you had to do is only plan for two subjects and not four.

This way you only plan for one or two subjects and not all of them. So collaboration makes it so much easier for you and other teachers to enjoy your work as a teacher. It’s a win-win collaboration for everybody.

3. Download ready-to-go lesson plans

Tech has made it very easy and convenient for teachers to go online and model already made lesson plans to suit their needs. Some of these sites offer free lesson plans while others you have to pay to access. All you have to do is to figure out what your learning objective is, then search for a lesson plan that correlates with your goal.

Gradely app also has course content to help teachers that can help teachers prepare for classes faster.
